So TIRED!!

I spent 4 hours at the ER last night with Tink. She has STREP AGAIN!!! This is the 5th time in 12 months. IT is getting very old. As usual she was the Belle of the ER. She makes friends with whom ever and where ever she goes. Adults actually stopped by her room on the way out just to say Goodbye. The funniest parts were when she asked why her hosp bracelet wasnt PINK, And that the DR could just call her Princess!!

So today she will not take her Meds!!! Not even with the Bribe of chocolate. HMMMF

Another year older.

Wow I would have never thought 38 would come so fast! In fact is has and I am still here is a blessing. The past year has been full of trials and tribulations. Yet through them all we have managed to still hold together as a family.

I got 2dz of these from DH on my Birthday. They are Beautiful and I love him.

1 step forward 10 steps back.

For those of you who dont know. I had spinal lumbar fusion surgery in Sept. While my back is feeling much better the next complaint of my right leg going numb. Unfortuanately has not been resolved. So much so that I fell halfway down the stairs monday night. I was barely able to do anything as it was. NOW I can do even less. I have just been trying to take it easy for the past few days but I dont feel any improvement. I see my PT on the 4th we will see what he has to say then.

Ahhh COFFEE

Its monday morning and the kidlets are still asleep at 7:45. I actually woke up before them and crept out of my room. Which means I wanst woken up by "Tigger" Jumping on my bed, or yelling cock a doddle doo in my ear! Or Tink telling me the sun is up. Despite the fact I may have just fallen asleep 3 hours ago. DH and I have a deal. I stay up or get up with whatever child is still awake and I dont get woken up in the morning to take care of him. He makes sure oldest DD gets up and off to college every morn. I get the rest of the kids.

So for the first time in a very long time. I get to enjoy a very large cup of coffee in peace and quiet. Although I am making my list of things to do today. Which now include fixing the Christmas tree that is now neaked on one side. For some reason the silly cats think they needed to climb it in the middle of the night. There is always the cleaning and laundry to add to the list. Homeschooling has to go in there somewhere to. We had taken the last 2 weeks off. "Tigger and Tink" had Strep. "Tiggers" meds interfered with his other meds and made him a little shall we say, irritable. Yep lets go with irritable.

So now I am just waiting for the Joyful Chaos that is my life to begin for the day. I cant imagine my life without it.

Thanksgiving & Black Friday

Thanksgiving was wonderful and quiet. We went to one set of my inlaws. Good food, Family and time. We did cook our own turkey dinner yesterday. So we can have leftovers. YUMMY!

Black Friday. I did not attempt to go shopping. I am so afraid of getting hurt. I just finally made it over the pain hump. It only took 9 weeks post surgery. DH and Oldest DD did though and they got some pretty good stuff. Then Said DD and I went and got pampared a bit. Gotta love girl time!

We feel truely blessed this year with everything we have been through. I hope that everyone elese took the time to count your blessings.
