Parmesan, Herbed Peasant Bread.

INGREDIENTS:
1 (.25 oz) package active dry yeast
2 cups warm water Divided
4 cups AP flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon butter melted
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon dyr italian herbs.

DIRECTIONS:
In 1 c warm water add 1 tablespoon sugar and packet of yeast. Allow to proof.
In a large bowl add flour, salt, parmesan cheese, dry herbs stir to combine.
Add yeast mixture to dry ingredients and stir add remaining 1 c water and stir till all ingredients are combined.
Cover and allow mixture to rise in a warm place until doubled. About 1 hour.
Stir dough down and divide in half place each hald in a greased pan. Brush tops with butter and allow to rise again until doubled. About an hour
Bake at 350* for 40-45 min.
